TRSA On the Trails Race 3: Mt Crawford
August 4
Welcome to the traditional lands of the northern Peramangk people known as the Tarrawata.
Mount Crawford Forest is managed for sustainable wood production, while also providing for native flora and fauna conservation.
Land was first purchased for forestry at Mount Crawford in 1909, with commercial plantings beginning in 1914 and continuing to expand until the 1960s. Many of the original plantations have since been clear felled and replanted.
With beautiful tree-lined avenues for our start/finish, the crowd-pleasing boardwalk and distances for all abilities, this is event is sure not to disappoint.
Mount Crawford is just an hour’s drive from the city but many of our runners choose to make a weekend of it and book a campsite.
