The Kangaroo Island Oats Running Festival was established in 2015 and has welcomed runners representing 23 countries and every state in Australia. The course route carves its way through the heart of a shutdown Flinders Chase National Park. Gravity Enduro South Australia (GESA) is dedicated to bringing gravity enduro mountain biking to Adelaide and its surrounding areas. We like to keep things simple and fun. You can come out to vie for the top step on the podium or you can keep things more casual and have a fun day out on the bike.
The Yurrebilla Trail is one of Adelaide’s treasures. The trail winds its way through a series of National Parks and Conservation Reserves under the Mt Lofty summit, as it makes its way across the western face of the Adelaide Hills. Never more than 12 km from the centre of Adelaide, Yurrebilla 56K Ultra offers stunning views, amazing gorges, waterfalls, wildlife and wildflowers.
If you haven’t yet seen the Onkaparinga Gorge, now is the time! It is an extremely picturesque area, in part reminiscent of the Flinders Ranges with its folded rocks and gorgeous gum trees. There will be carpets of wildflowers to ooh and aah over, the river is stunning for those who venture down to the water, and there are even multiple waterholes to swim in if the navigation gets too hard… (or maybe that’s part of the navigation…)
South Australia’s premier half marathon, 10K & 5K event runs on stunning courses on scrub, wetlands, beach, esplanade & quiet back roads around Aldinga Bay and our medals are the biggest you’ll get!
