THE 2025 awesomest adventure challenge

We want you to have the Awesomest 2025 ever so we’ve come up with The 2025 Awesomest Adventure Challenge.

The idea is simple. Really simple. One challenge a month, for every month of 2025. (That’s 12 for those of you who aren’t numerically gifted.) We announce the challenge at the start of the month. You have the month to complete it.  

It gives a bit of a push in the right direction to go have at least one little awesome adventure, possibly not so little, every month, so that when you get to the end of the year you can say “oh yeah, I had the awesomest year!” and yep, that’s what it’s all about.

“Where CAN I FIND THE CHALLENGES?”

We’ll announce them on social media at the start of the month. In theory, on the first day of the month, in reality, probably the first day of the month. So follow us on Facebook or Instagram to make sure you see them.

Keep in mind, courtesy of the ‘The Algorithm’ you may not see it straight away, or at all. We’re working on getting an email list happening so we can send you all the details directly. Stay tuned for that.

“WHAT ARE THE RULES?“

Rules? We don’t need no stinking rules! (It’s an obscure film reference, just roll with it.) But seriously, you can take this as seriously, or not seriously, as you like. If you’re not sure if you can or can’t do something, the answer is almost certainly “yes”. Regardless of the question. If in doubt, just ask yourself, “Will doing it this way result in me having an awesome time” and if the answer is “yes” you’re good to go. If that means bending the rules, or just flat out breaking them and doing it your own way, we’re not the Fun Police so just go for it.

Likewise, if you don’t complete the challenge by the end of the month, hey, we get it, life happens. Can you get out there and do the challenge the following month? Like Bob the Builder, yes you can. You won’t go into that month’s prize draw, but no biggy, it’s not like we’re giving away a new car. The important thing is you’re out there doing awesome things, whenever you can.

“WHAT CAN I WIN?”

You can win… being awesome. Honestly, this isn’t designed to be a competition, it’s designed to inspire you to get out there and discover, and see and do, awesome things. We will be giving away a few prizes, but really this whole ‘win something’ thing is a cheap and totally transparent stunt to get you to share content with us that inspires other people to join in and be more awesome.

So when you complete a challenge, post a pic of what you’ve done or where you’ve been to Facebook or Instagram, tag us in the pic, and use the hashtag #AwesomestAdventureChallenge which yes, we know is the longest hashtag of all time, but do those things to make it easy for us to find you, and at the end of the month we’ll randomly give away a prize.

(If you’re more of a “bugger posting about this and ruining the aesthetic of my feed” type person, just send us the pic on socials and we’ll still put you in the draw.)

The most important thing here really is to get you thinking about all the awesome things you can see and do in South Australia. Some of them will be obvious, some will be “holy cow I did not know about that”, some will be easy, while some will be “what the actual duck?”, but this is not just for the hard core adventurers out there, so we’ll always try and have an option for those that are born to be mild as well as the born to be wild ones.
