Let’s not fuck about, we’re well aware that to some people, who are dickheads by the way, South Australia is basically the Nickelback of Australia. And sure, we’ve had some less than stellar moments, but serial killers putting bodies in barrels aside, and OK, yes there was that thing in Truro a while back, and that Wolf Creek type incident at Salt Creek, and… anyway, it’s actually a pretty awesome place to do some seriously cool things.

We may not have a fancy harbour bridge, or the world’s largest monolith, but we’ve got the world’s largest lobster (we’re looking at you Larry!), and some epic, world class natural spaces, and no shortage of awesome adventure experiences to enjoy. There’s a shit tonne of information about our wine regions like the Barossa and McLaren Vale, but here at The Awesomest we’re more Red Bull than red wine. You can keep your shockingly chilled chardonnay – we’d rather go snorkelling in the shockingly chilled, crystal clear waters of a volcanic crater.
