The forest and lake course offers three distances for the event so that as many people/competitors can take part independent of their level of fitness.

AdelaideA picturesque course leaving from Wigley Reserve, Glenelg, and heading south along the coast, takes in the new scenic Somerton boardwalk, before returning to Glenelg. SARRC’s last event for the year gives you a chance to record your PB over the 10 and 5 km distances.
Fanatics Half Marathon
AdelaideWhat better way to start Christmas Day than with a cheeky 6am half marathon around West Lakes? Burn a few calories then consumer ten times as many during the day. There is no website as this is an unofficial event but you'll usually find details on the SA Road Runners Club Facebook page. Otherwise head to Brebner Drive in front of the Lakes Resort by about 5:45am to sing 'Oh Come All Ye Faithful" before a 6am start. (Shorter distances also available.)
Melrose Running Festival
Flinders Ranges & OutbackMt. Remarkable National Park is located just over 3 hours drive north of, a 30km starting at Mambray Creek and the traditional 15km "King of the Mount" up to the summit and back down again.
Conquer the Summit
Adelaide HillsConquer the Summit is a fun run event held annually in Mt Barker, in the Adelaide Hills, to raise money for Operation Flinders and other local charities. After leaving the wetlands, competitors follow a combination of roadside, firetrack, vineyard and single-track all the way to the top of Mt Barker Summit.
Clare Valley Running Festival
ClareSARRC’s first half marathon of the year is held in the beautiful Clare Valley and is the first event of our Triple Vines Series which includes the Clare Valley, Barossa Marathon and McLaren Vale events. This is the Clare Valley Running Festival. The Clare Valley is one of South Australia’s oldest wine regions and it’s world-renowned for producing elegant Rieslings. The Clare Valley Half Marathon follows part of the Riesling Trail. Come for the run… stay the weekend!

Barossa Marathon
BarossaThe Chateau Tanunda Barossa Marathon Festival is held every year starting in the scenic vineyard-surrounded Tanunda. The event attracts runners from right across the world, wanting to challenge their fitness levels in the marathon (42.2km), half marathon (21.1km), 10km and 5km events. The course is very flat, perfect for those wanting a quick time or ‘personal best’.
The GREAT Kanku-Breakaways Bolt
Flinders Ranges & OutbackThe Great Kanku‑Breakaways Marathon and Fun Run is held in the magnificent Kanku–Breakaways Conservation Park, 30kms north of Coober Pedy, in outback South Australia. The event is now held wholly in the conservation park, a registered Aboriginal heritage site. It winds through the spectacular coloured hills, along the dog fence and back to the lookouts.
Tower Trail Run
Limestone CoastSet on the mountainside overlooking the city, and on the edge of the picturesque Valley Lakes precinct, the course winds it’s way around some of the regions most scenic locations. Taking in the sights of the Blue Lake and visiting Leg Of Mutton Lake trails, this course has you circling the craters of dormant volcanos and running into, and through, others.

McLaren Vale Running Festival
Fleurieu PeninsulaHeld in one of South Australia’s best-kept secrets, and just 45 minutes from the CBD, starting and finishing on the grounds of the beautiful Hardys Tintara Cellar door, the half marathon course takes in the Shiraz Trail between McLaren Vale and Willunga, with a loop along the rail trail between McLaren Vale and Seaford. The 10km and 5km courses are a fast dash towards Willunga and back.
